My name is Paul Daniel Payne, and I am pleased to be your Usui and Radiance Reiki teacher and healer. I studied Reiki while living and teaching in South Korea and China, and earned my Master Reiki Teacher certification during that time. I have been practicing and teaching Reiki for over five years. It is my honor to share the knowledge of this wonderful energy healing system worldwide. I also offer Reiki treatments in addition to being the instructor for the courses at CRE. My name is Shalome Swinamer. I am a native of Atlantic Canada and am currently studying for a Master of Divinity degree at the Atlantic School of Theology. My area of expertise is chakra energy work and balancing. In addition, I create my own line of jewelry designed especially to client specifications. It is my honor to work with those in need of energy balancing.
*Usui Reiki Level I Certification $295
In this level, you will be introduced to the Usui Reiki energy healing system. You will learn what attunement are, about hand positions, self healing and healing others. You will also be introduced to the five principles of Reiki and ethical considerations in applying Reiki healing. At the conclusion of this level, you will receive your first attunements and will be able to start working with Reiki on yourself, your family and your friends. You will be expected to log at least 20 hours of Reiki treatments on others, will be required to complete a final exam.
* Usui Reiki Level II Certification $395
In level II, you will further explore the ethics of Reiki treatment, a variety of Reiki symbols and distance healing. We will also discuss group treatment and using crystals during Reiki treatments. When you can completed this level, you will be able to send Reiki by distance and will have a deeper knowledge of how to use the Reiki symbols during the treatment process. You will receive more attunements during your study of this level. You will be expected to log an additional 25 hours of Reiki treatments on others, will be required to complete a final exam.
* Usui Reiki Level III - Master Level Certification $595
In the Master level, your healing ability will be greatly enhanced through the attunements. In addition to the Reiki symbols you will have already learned, you will also learn the Master healing symbols at this level. Once you have completed this level, you will be an expert at utilizing Reiki for healing purposes. You will be expected to log an additional 25 hours of Reiki treatments on others during this level, will be required to complete a final exam.

Some Reiki teachers include this level in their level III courses, while others choose to make it a separate course. I have opted for the latter for one very important reason: their are specific, important skills a teacher must learn that are different from the skills a Reiki practitioner already has. As a teacher, you will be taking on an extra responsibility of passing on Reiki knowledge to others, and this is a very important responsibility. In this course, you will learn some methods for passing on Reiki knowledge to your students in ways which allow them to easily and expertly digest and use that knowledge. You will be required to complete a final exam and submit video of your teaching before being granted this certification.
* 7-Degree (Radiance) Reiki Certification $995
Radiance Reiki differs somewhat from Usui Reiki in that it is a more modern development created by a student of Ms. Tanaka - the student of Dr. Mikao Usui. Radiance Reiki focuses more on the seven primary chakras of the energy body. You will receive training in each of the seven levels as well as an attunement for each level. As with other Reiki methods, you will discover the Reiki symbols and hand positions. You will be expected to log a total of 75 hours of Reiki treatments over the entirety of this course in addition to completing a final exam.

Chakra Treatments
Shalome Swinamer, our chakra balancing expert at CRE, is pleased to offer her chakra balancing services in person (in the Halifax, Nova Scotia area) or by distance. Balanced chakras directly affect the physical, emotional and psychological health of an individual. If chakras are unbalanced, the body will display negative results.
Chakra balancing services are offered by the hour at a charge of $60 per hour. A complete balancing session usually lasts 60 - 90 minutes, and it is recommended to have your chakras balanced at least once or twice a month. Our surrounding environments directly affect our chakra energy and balance, and regular maintenance is highly recommended.
Each client will receive a complete consultation and balance diagnosis before a session begins. Shalome offers traditional chakra balancing therapy and Christian chakra therapy for clients who wish to tie their treatments directly to their Christian faith. The Center for Reiki Education offers Usui Reiki treatments in addition to Reiki edcuational programs. Paul Daniel Payne is the resident Reiki healer, and has over five years of Reiki healing experience in Asia and North America. He is trained in Usui Reiki and Radiance Reiki.
Each Reiki session lasts approximately 60-90 minutes. The costs for Usui Reiki treatments is $65 per hour. Each client is given a free 15 minute consultation before the treatment begins. Typically, clients receive treatments twice to three times a week for a specific issue (until the issue is resolved) or twice a month for "regular maintenance."
If you've never experience Reiki treatments before, there is nothing to fear. Simply remember to wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing. You will either be sitting in a comfortable chair or lying down for the sessions. It is guaranteed to be relaxing and refreshing. Most clients report a comfortable warm sensation in the parts of the body to which Reiki is being channeled.
In addition, The Center for Reiki Education offers spiritual counseling session for those desiring a more psycho-therapeutic approach. Spiritual counseling sessions are also $65 per hour with a free initial 15 minute consultation.
